Your negative emotions are a product of your limiting beliefs ...
It's no "secret" that the first step in having what you wish for is clearing your negative emotions and EFT is a very effective tool for doing just that.
However, your negative emotions are most often a product of your judgements, opinions and/or beliefs.
To really get to the core of the negative emotion, determine what the beliefs are that leave you stuck in that negative emotion and change them in a way that makes you feel good!
No matter how you slice it, negative emotions do not serve you. Your power to change things is from a place of neutrality. Yes, it is true... if you're neutral, you may no longer have a desire to change things, but the reason you want to change things is so that you can get to that place of neutrality, now isn't it? We all just want to feel good and that is your choice.
For example, I know a couple of people who feel betrayed by their employers. They were hired on with a company under the premise that the would be doing a certain job within the company and yet they found themselves doing something entirely different. They are so stuck in the emotion of betrayal that they weren't able to move onto something better. And as long as they continue to feel betrayed, the more betrayal they will manifest. At the heart of the emotion is the belief that the company "should" have them doing a different job. But what if they could shift the belief to something like "well, guess they needed someone doing this work more than they thought they did", or "they are really lucky that I can do other things as well", or "they wanted me so badly that they would've said anything to bring me on".
Which feels more neutral:
"Those _______s betrayed me. They messed with my life! They really screwed me over!"
or
"I guess they wanted me so bad they would've said anything to get me on board."
Which belief do you believe gives you the power to change things?
In addition, what benefits can you think of that you experienced from the situation? You can stay stuck in the negatives, or you can choose to focus on the positive, realizing you did attract it into your experience and now... by becoming neutral and realizing you are a powerful creator... you can create something better.
